  • 3DMark05 will require a graphics card capable of Pixel Shader 2.0, or higher.
  • Prices for professional versions are: 3DMark05 Pro (download) - $19.95; 3DMark05 Pro (CD-ROM) - $29.95; 3DMark05 Business Edition (CD-ROM) - $250.00. There will also be an upgrade version from 3DMark03 Pro to 3DMark05 Pro.
  • 3DMark05 Pro will give you access to the Pro Online ResultBrowser.
  • In order to run 3DMark05, the minimum requirement for your graphics card is (along with support for PS2.0 or better) 128MB of video memory. Minimum system memory is 512MB.

New features include: intermodulation distortion test (allows to detect high-frequency intermodulations that are specific to internal sample rate convertion (SRC) algorithms of a sound card), auto-normalize function, in the acoustics testing mode: separate measurement of 2-nd and 3-rd harmonics; normalization of distortion level to the input signal level; a new THD-vs-frequency test using a set of fading-in harmonics with different frequencies, improved graph anti-aliasing.
