Now, there is another tool with almost the same name, but extended functionality and more attractive interface - ReadyBoost Monitor from Area-71.net. [28.05.2008]TechARP.com has published x264 HD Benchmark Ver. 2.0! The benchmark is the "High Definition version" of the x264 Benchmark which has become a standard CPU benchmark for Tech ARP as well as many other hardware enthusiasts. It is a reproducible measure of how fast your machine can encode a short, HD-quality 720p24 video clip into a high quality x264 video file. It's nice because everyone running it will use the same video clip and software. The video encoder (x264.exe) reports a fairly accurate internal benchmark (in frames per second) for each pass of the video encode and it also uses multi-core processors very efficiently. Please, note: the benchmark requires AviSynth 2.5.7 to run.

Futuremark Corporation has released a hotfix for 3DMark Vantage that updates the benchmark to version 1.0.1! The hotfix updates the following: off-line score viewing is now available in the Advanced Edition, score save / submit saved options are now available in the Advanced Edition, ad banners have been removed from all editions, added a "SEND ERROR" button to error messages (clicking this will send detailed error information to Futuremark for better bug tracking and fixing), a lot of bugfixes.
