[23.04.2010]Rightware, which was spun off from Futuremark recently, has announced OMSMark, a new benchmarking software developed in cooperation with China Mobile! China Mobile has chosen to use Rightware's OMSMark as its standard testing suite for OMS handset qualification. With OMSMark, China Mobile and its handset partners have the ideal tool for accurately and reliably measuring the performance of cell phones running the OMS operating system.
OMSMark is based on Rightware's established SPMark product line of benchmarks and has additional tests developed under the guidance of China Mobile. OMSMark includes performance and power consumption tests for 3D graphics, 2D graphics and system workloads. 3D graphics tests include an advanced 3D gaming scene and theoretical tests for 3D graphics performance measurement. 2D graphics test section features 2D graphics content displaying and image manipulation tests. FRAPS 3.2.0 has been released! This version brings a new feature for registered users - loop recording, which allows to constantly capture the previous 30 seconds of video. To start the buffering press and hold the video capture hotkey for a second. The Fraps counter will turn pink to show that video is being buffered. When you want to save the action simply tap the capture hotkey and the recording will continue as normal (including the previous 30 seconds of footage). Unigine Corp. has released Heaven Benchmark 2.0! It is a DirectX 11 benchmark based on the company's proprietary Unigine engine! The demo supports ATI Eyefinity Technology, all modern graphical APIs (OpenGL, DirectX 9, DirectX 10 and DirectX 11) and provides benchmarking capabilities. To run the demo you'll need the latest video drivers, as well as Microsoft's .NET framework 2.0.
